Canine Boarding

“The Ruff House” at Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic provides a fun and comfortable boarding experience for your dog, which includes stress reducing music, as well as aromatherapy to fill the air with soothing essential oils. We understand that being away from their familiar surroundings can be stressful and we strive to ensure your dog feels right at home while in our care.

All dogs are allowed their own individual time to free-run in our large fenced-in yard a minimum of 3 times a day. We also provide Kuranda beds for optimal comfort for our mature or arthritic guests.

Canine Boarding Requirements: Each dog is required to be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. We also require proof of a negative fecal test being completed within the last 6 months. If any of these services are due, we can provide them during your pet’s stay.

Feline Boarding

At Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic all boarding cats are housed in our quiet, relaxing condos which are located in a separate room from the “Ruff House”. Spa music plays throughout the day which helps reduce the noise from the rest of the clinic and allows your cat to relax to their surroundings. The room includes a cat tower positioned next to the window allowing our guests a chance to stretch their legs and take a mid-day snooze in the sun.

Feline Boarding Requirements: Each cat is required to be current on rabies and FVRCP (Feline Distemper). We also require proof of a negative fecal test being completed within the last 6 months. If any of these services are due, we can provide them during your pet’s stay.

What should you bring?

Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic provides Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food as part of your pet’s boarding stay. If your pet eats a special dry, canned or prescription diet, we recommend bringing food for their stay. We also provide food & water bowls, bedding, toys and treats for your pet’s stay with us.
